As we approach the end of May, we continue to evaluate the current Pandemic situation and our decision to remain closed to public. I stopped by the winery last Saturday night to pick up a last minute delivery and paused on the patio, thinking about live music, happy customers, and the buzz of our staff passing through the doorway delivering flights and flatbreads to tables. I couldn't help but smile. But to think of the patio at about 25% capacity, (to keep 6ft apart) and just a few tables available inside...well, it just wouldn't be the same. And if our tasting room was responsible for someone getting sick?...that's where the smile ended. As you know, this little winery is our passion, as Dana would say, it's her "fourth love" (after our two boys and me, her hubby) and to push it into something we're uncomfortable with, just doesn't sit right with us. With your continued support by ordering online and carryout, we're able to continue on doing business and spreading joy (and wine) thought the area. We're fortunate that our audience has grown with the help of the Governor's #inthistogetherohio TV commercial that we were fortunate enough to be featured in, as well as by word of mouth. We've also found a way to come up with lots of new ideas that you really seem to enjoy, like our Carryout Wine Slushees, Wine Cocktails, Flights to Go, Wine Six Packs.. and now... WINE BROWNIES! (thanks to The Beehive Bread Company! We have a new Wine Cocktail coming later this week, and Sangria Wine Slushees again this Saturday for carryout.
